DESCRIPTION:This class is open to anyone from walking age up to 4\, siblings are allowed a ticket up to the age of 7. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. SUMMARY:CORE PROFICIENCY WORKSHOP -2024
DESCRIPTION:This 1 hour core awards class is open to members only aged 4-16 years old who are trying to get their red\, bronze\, silver and/or gold core awards. Gymnasts will have a 15 minute warm up consisting of a pulse raiser and stretch. After which they will be split off into their corresponding award groups where they will be taught and/or shown what they need to achieve to tick off the skills in their awards. If they pass an award the coach will then start ticking off the next award. This can mean they can achieve more than just one award in this class however it can also mean they do not pass any at all – this is often the case when gymnasts start progressing to the harder awards – please understand that each skill must be completed to a good standard i.e. straight legs\, pointy toes and in the correct shape. In this instance we will then give you and their coach a list of what they need to work on to achieve the award next time or in sessions if they are really close. Gymnasts will have a 15 minute warm up consisting of a pulse raiser and stretch. After which they will be split off into their corresponding award groups where they will be taught and/or shown what they need to achieve to tick off the skills in their awards. If they pass an award the coach will then start ticking off the next award. This can mean they can achieve more than just one award in this class however it can also mean they do not pass any at all – this is often the case when gymnasts start progressing to the harder awards – please understand that each skill must be completed to a good standard i.e. straight legs\, pointy toes and in the correct shape. . In this instance we will then give you and their coach a list of what they need to work on to achieve the award next time or in sessions if they are really close. All classes are to be booked in advance and parents/guardians can either stay to watch at the side or drop off and pick up. SUMMARY:CORE PROFICIENCY WORKSHOPS -2024
DESCRIPTION:This 1 hour core awards class is open to members only aged 4-16 years old who are trying to get their violet\, indigo and/or blue core awards. Gymnasts will have a 15 minute warm up consisting of a pulse raiser and stretch. After which they will be split off into their corresponding award groups where they will be taught and/or shown what they need to achieve to tick off the skills in their awards. If they pass an award the coach will then start ticking off the next award. This can mean they can achieve more than just one award in this class however it can also mean they do not pass any at all – this is often the case when gymnasts start progressing to the harder awards – please understand that each skill must be completed to a good standard i.e. straight legs\, pointy toes and in the correct shape. . In this instance we will then give you and their coach a list of what they need to work on to achieve the award next time or in sessions if they are really close. All classes are to be booked in advance and parents/guardians can either stay to watch at the side or drop off and pick up. DESCRIPTION:This 1 hour intermediate recreational gymnastics class is open to all children members or non members aged 4-16 years old. Please ensure your gymnast can do the following prerequisites for intermediate before bookings this class; Roll\, Handstand\, Cartwheel. Please ensure your gymnast can do the following prerequisites for advanced before bookings this class; Forwards and Backward roll\, Handstand held\, Cartwheel and Round Off. Gymnasts will have a 15 minute warm up consisting of a pulse raiser and stretch followed by two different apparatus in our gym. All classes are to be booked in advance and parents/guardians can either stay to watch at the side or drop off and pick up. You must tell the coach at the table at the start of the class your name and whether you are booked into intermediate or advanced to ensure correct grouping of gymnasts ability.
